Dealing With Algae
If you start to see algae forming in your pool, the best thing to do is to super chlorinate (shock) your pool according to the instructions your particular brand of chemical. Wait one day, and then give your pool a dose of algaecide, following the weekly dose instructions on the bottle. Algae should die and turn brown. Vacuum the pool as necessary to clear the pool water. If algae persists, have your phosphate level checked and ask our staff about Pool First Aid by Natural Chemistry.
